About Loop
LOOP was born from a simple observation: too many older adults in our communities were feeling disconnected and alone. As families became more geographically dispersed and technology evolved rapidly, many older adults found themselves left behind.
We started with a small pilot program offering virtual wellness classes to 20 older adults. Today, we serve thousands of older adults across the country through our comprehensive programs that combine technology, human connection, and community engagement.
LOOP offers vibrant daily, LIVE, online classes & events addressing seniors' social, mental, and physical needs. While technology often isolates individuals, even within shared spaces, LOOP harnesses these same devices, phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, and televisions to unite seniors across any distance.
By reimagining screen time, LOOP turns solitary digital experiences into opportunities for meaningful engagement, effectively bridging the gap between physical separation and emotional closeness.
Meet Margot
Executive Director
Former healthcare administrator with 20+ years experience in older adult care advocacy.
Margot Biane Merrick is Co-founder and CEO of TheLoopVillage.com, a virtual, online community targeting older adult isolation.
The Loop Village is an online platform that offers one-on-one companions, live virtual travel events and classes as well as a cafe so "you never eat alone again". The Loop Village is gaining massive traction in the Age Tech space with its mission is to improve the lives of millions around the world. Margot has been a leader in this industry with a solid background in staffing, specifically in the older adult care realm.
A California native with deep roots in the service industry, she earned her BA from USC in 1990 with a major in Communications. Margot grew the sales and client base for two publicly traded staffing companies, Outsource International and Headway Corporate Staffing where she was responsible for $20 million in annual revenue. She launched Good Company Older Adult Care in 2002. Margot's focus on older adult care comes from a lifetime desire to connect with older adults and help them experience the highest quality of life possible.
Margot's energy, magnetic personality and ability to connect with all people has led her to many mutually beneficial partnerships. She is beyond excited for the far reaching and impactful benefits that Loop Village is bringing to older adults around the world.

Lav is the Founder of Lev Investments, Inc., a diversified real estate and private investment firm. He also actively invests in, advises, and incubates seed-stage technology startups. Lav founded Lev to Lev (est. 2004), a nonprofit supporting children and families in need, and as a helicopter pilot, he regularly volunteers for youth-focused philanthropic flights.

He has over 35 years of experience executive management, operations, and sales/marketing, primarily in the healthcare, public health, and emergency response/humanitarian aid industries.
Shawn has a strong record of accomplishments with high-growth Technology companies, and 1 True Health is his 4th founding company.
